TANKHUN — กอดแล้วเหงา

Some loneliness begins while two people are still together. TANKHUN’s “กอดแล้วเหงา” follows a couple who still share an embrace, familiar routines and genuine care, while the love between them slowly changes.

Everything still looks familiar

One makes room on the sofa for the other, as they do every night. The television plays with nobody watching. They sit together, then turn away from each other. The distance begins in an ordinary room.

They still look after each other: bringing home something the other person likes, asking whether they have eaten. The care remains, but neither has said they love the other for a long time. A question starts to take shape: are they staying because they are in love, or because they are afraid of being alone?

The question neither wants returned

When the narrator asks whether they still love each other, their partner pauses and returns the question. The conversation they have avoided finally has to continue. They still care, and both know that something has changed.

Acoustic-leaning pop and R&B give the story room to move, with words that feel close to a conversation. The embrace that once brought comfort becomes something they must stop forcing.

The same room, alone

On the first night after their partner moves out, the narrator returns to the same seat, switches off the unwatched television and lets the room fall quiet. Leaving makes the relationship’s ending clear. It does not make loneliness disappear.

Looking back, that loneliness began before the room was empty, before anyone moved out and before either person could name what had happened. They had already begun to lose each other while they were still sleeping side by side.

ไม่มีเธอให้กอดแล้ว แต่ยังเหงาเท่าเดิม

From “กอดแล้วเหงา”

There’s no you to hold anymore, but I’m just as lonely.
